1.) Large Martha Stewart's cake. The cake shown here will feed approximately 300 to 400 guests. This cake can be made to feed between 200 and 500 guests. This is a 5 tier cake with "short pillars", and iced in ivory icing.

The Angels Sing cake. This is an elegant, ivory, silk and pearl cake. This 4 - 5 tier cake is enough to feed 275 - 300 guests. This is a Wilton cake, like on page 36 in the Wilton Bridal Cake Book. There is an extra expense with this cake because of the pearls over the garlands, pearl leaves, cherubs and silk flowers. This cake could also be done with live flower arrangements.

03 A Different Basket Weave
3.) A Different Basket Weave cake is a version of Martha Stewart's early designs for tier on tier cakes. This cake can be done in a 3, 4 or 5 tier cake, ranging from 125 guests up to 400 guests. This cake has small live rosebuds scattered around on the tiers.

4.) White Rose Satellite cake. This is similar to the staircase cake, but without the staircases and fountain. This 7-tier cake can carry your names and date, or a message to your guests on the tiny center cake. This cake can feed from 250 up to 600, depending on the size of tiers used.

5.) Tiered Rose Cascade cake. This is a fairly new and popular style for the brides in this new millennium. This can be a 3 - 5 tier cake. The flowers can be of fresh, silk or dried. There are about 4 dozen roses on this particular cake.

6.) Lace, Pearls and Satellites cake. This is a different version of the satellite cake because it has two bottom tiers on the bottom, instead of 3 tiers as in the White Rose Satellite cake. This leaves more room for silk arrangements and pearls, and an accent of streamers, pearls and lace enhance this look.

7.) Tiered Lace and Champaign cake. This is an elegant and simple cake for the modern bride. It has accents of pearls on top of the garlands. This can be done in a 3, 4 or 5 tier cake. The antique look lace on top has the resemblance of a lace doily.

9.) Wilton's Dance and Dream cake. A vision in pure white. Amidst the richness of ribbon rose blossoms, spectacular shells and intricate string work, sparkling bells call forth a moment to be treasures forever.

11.) Groom's "Gone Fish' in" cake. This cake was on the tall pillars with the fountain beneath it. There were small gold fish swimming around in the water, a Teddy Bear Bridal couple on top, with the Groom holding a fishing pole, behind his back, with a red and white bobber on the end of his line. The inscription says, "Oh John, isn't this a beautiful day for a wedding".

12.) Silk ribbons and Basket weave cake. This cake was fashioned after the bride's gown. On her gown there were white silk ribbons and a basket weave of satin with a pearl at each overlap. The bride then carried matching flowers. This basket weave was identical to the weave in the dress.

13.) Spring flowers cake. This tier on tier cake is decorated with fresh flowers that were arranged and placed on the cake once it got to the hall. The icing on the cake was plain, except for the boarders.

14.) Evening of Lace cake. This cake has two sets of pillars on it, but can also be done tier on tier or all separated with pillars. The lace look, applied with icing, is simple but very stylish.

15.) The Presidents Aisle Cloth cake. These tiers are much larger than normal. This cake is supposed to have the scheme as the church's aisle clothe for the ceremony. The gardenias and cherubs have made this cake very unique.

16.) The 1974 White cake. This was one of the very first cakes I did, many years ago. This was a 4-tier cake, which feeds about 175 - 200 guests. Each tier has a different design.

17.) My Laura's Wedding Cheesecake. This was the cake my oldest daughters choose for her bridal dessert. This cake was iced in White Chocolate Cream Cheese icing, and had silk flowers cascading down from each tier. This cheesecake feed 225 people, simply because everyone wanted an "extra large" piece. This cake was done on the bridal stand, which can be rented from area stores that deal with rentals.

18.) My First Silk cake. Over 20 years ago, when cakes were all tier on tier, or all tiers separated with pillars, I created a cake with the top two and bottom two tiers separated. Then I arranged silk flowers, which back then was nowhere near as beautiful as they are now.

19.) The Military Aisle cake. This is another cake with the unpretentious lines. These tiers are graceful and stylish.

20.) Pretty and Pink Garland cake. This is a rather old fashion style. This style was popular many years ago, but still loved by many brides.

21.) Tamlyn's Daisy cake. This country club cake was the conclusion to a perfect wedding reception. This cake serves approximately 250 - 300 guests.

22.) Chocolate and Carrot Stand cake. This cake was done with two favorite flavors in mind. There was a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and a carrot cake with cream cheese icing, so everyone was happy.

23.) Chocolate and Carrot Duplicate cake. This was another version of the Brides carrot cake and the groom's favorite, chocolate. The groom's cake is usually done a little smaller than the brides, but here the groom did not want any less cake than possible. Both were decorated with matching daisies.

24.) Edible porcelain cake. This cake was with edible porcelain flowers, which the Bride saw in a magazine. These flower arrangements can be removed from the cake after the couple cut their taste, and arranged in a crystal dish or in a basket for a keepsake.

25.) Victorian and Ivory cake. This large 5-tier cake has shorter pillars for that different look. The garlands and designs on the sides are traditional but still appealing to the bride of today. This cake is iced in a beige color, with pearls and cherubs.

26.) Piglets and Silk cake. There is a touch of silliness in this cake. It is perfect for the rehearsal dinner or even an informal wedding. There are many themes that can be incorporated into the wedding.

27.) Mammaw & Pappaws 55th cake. This was my in-laws anniversary cake. For the couple who never had a wedding cake, they choose a style that feed about 150 guests.

28.) Yellow Tea Roses cake. This small-tiered cake will feed about 100 - 125 guests. There are real yellow tea roses and babies' breath on this cake, with fresh flowers on top.

29.) Martha Stewart's Basket weave cake. This cake is a little different than a regular basket weave. The marking on this cake make this cake special, but simplicity is still there

30.) Scrolls and Garlands cake. This large cake serves over 400 guests. This cake was done in chocolate cake, with a beige icing. The flower arrangements, after the receptions were put into a fireside basket, so each of the mothers had a keepsake.

31.) My Newest Sister in Laws Cheesecake. This was the very first cheesecake that I did for a wedding. This cake was transported to Wisconsin in a snowstorm many years ago. This was the first of MANY cheesecakes for the family. This particular cake has red raspberry topping on. There are arrangements of silk flowers, which matched the attendant's flowers.

32.) Pink Roses and Wedding Bells cake. This traditional cake with icing roses is always a favorite. Sugar bells and gold rings adorn the boarders.

33.) Bold Boarders and Spring Flowers cake. This was the first colorful tiered cake I did over 28 years ago. This was before I started to bake 3" cakes, and just put two layers together to make a 3" tier. These are meringue flowers and plastic silver rings.

34.) Basket weave Stand cake. This cake is on the crystal stand. All the tiers are independently separated. This is also a good stand to put cheesecakes on. These large floral arrangements on top set it off well.
